How to connect Apple Calendar
With schedule.so, you can connect Apple Calendar and keep your bookings synced automatically. Schedule checks your calendar in real time before confirming appointments, so only available time slots are shown. This helps prevent conflicts and keeps your schedule accurate without manual effort.
Generate App-Specific Password
Before connecting Apple Calendar in Schedule, you need to create an app-specific password for your Apple ID.
Start by going to appleid.com/account/manage and signing in with your Apple ID. Then open Sign-In and Security. Under the Security section, find App-Specific Passwords and click Generate an App-Specific Password.
Enter a label for the password so you can recognize it later. Apple will then generate a unique app-specific password. Copy this password, as you will need it during setup in Schedule.

Set Up Apple Calendar Integration
Go to the Calendars section in Schedule. Click Connect next to Apple Calendar. Enter your Apple ID and paste the app-specific password. Click Save to complete the connection. Once connected, your Apple Calendar will be ready to sync bookings.

Choosing a Default Calendar
If your Schedule account is connected to multiple calendars, you can choose a default calendar. This ensures that all future bookings are automatically saved to the calendar you select.

Choose a Calendar for Your Event
When creating an event, all available Apple calendars appear in a dropdown. Select the calendar you want to use, and bookings for that event will be added there. This is useful if you want to keep personal, work, or team bookings separate.

Testing the Booking Flow
Once Apple Calendar is connected, Schedule checks your availability whenever someone visits your booking page.
If a time slot is already booked in your Apple Calendar, it will appear as unavailable on your booking page. If the time slot is free, it can be booked normally. This keeps your booking page aligned with your actual schedule.
