How to connect Google Calendar

With Schedule.so, you can connect Google Calendar so your availability stays up to date automatically. Instead of managing bookings manually, Schedule checks your calendar in real time and only shows time slots that are actually available. This helps prevent conflicts, missed appointments, and double bookings.

How Availability Checking Works

Whenever someone opens your booking page, Schedule checks your connected Google Calendar in real time. Only time slots that are free and not blocked by existing events appear as available.

This means visitors cannot book a time that overlaps with something already on your calendar. Once a booking is confirmed, the event is added to your Google Calendar right away so everything stays in sync.

Setting Up Google Calendar Integration

To begin, open the Calendars section from your dashboard. This is where all your calendar connections are managed. You will see different calendar options available for integration.

Find Google Calendar in the list and click the Connect button next to it. This action starts the connection process.

Testing the Booking Flow

When a time slot is already booked in your Google Calendar, it is automatically removed from your booking page. This ensures users cannot select a time that is unavailable, preventing double bookings and keeping your schedule accurate.
