How to setup custom SMTP to send notification emails from your own email in schedule.so
Custom SMTP lets you send Schedule.so notification emails using your own email address and email provider. This gives you more control over how your emails are delivered and helps your notifications feel more aligned with your brand.
If you want invitees to receive booking emails from your own sender address instead of the default setup, you can configure that from the Custom SMTP section in your account.
Accessing Custom SMTP Settings
To begin, navigate to the top navigation bar and click on Custom SMTP.
This section allows you to configure your own email sending setup for all Schedule.so notifications. At the top of the page, you will find the Custom SMTP Server toggle. Enable this option to start configuring your SMTP connection.
A note is displayed to inform you that when using a custom SMTP server, you are responsible for ensuring that your email provider complies with the required security and privacy standards.

Configuring Sender Details
After enabling custom SMTP, proceed to the Sender Details section. Enter the Sender Email, which is the email address that will be used to send notification emails. This is the address your invitees will see as the sender.
Next, provide the Sender Name. This can be your company name or a personal name, depending on how you want your emails to appear. The sender name will be displayed alongside the sender email in all outgoing notifications.

Adding SMTP Provider Settings
In the SMTP Provider Settings section, enter the credentials provided by your email service provider. Fill in the Host with your SMTP server address and specify the Port Number required by your provider. If your provider requires a secure connection, enable the Secure option.
Then, enter the Username and Password associated with your SMTP account. These credentials allow Schedule.so to connect with your email provider and send emails on your behalf.

Testing the SMTP Configuration
Ensure that all values are entered correctly, as even minor errors in the host, port, username, or password can prevent successful email delivery.
Click Send Test Email to verify your configuration. This step confirms whether Schedule.so can successfully send emails using your custom SMTP setup.

Viewing Delivery Status
You can use the View Deliveries option to review the delivery status of emails sent through your SMTP configuration. This section provides visibility into whether emails were successfully sent, delivered, or failed. It is particularly useful for troubleshooting delivery issues and validating your SMTP setup.
Once the test email is successfully delivered, click Save to store your SMTP configuration.

Result
Once setup is complete, Schedule.so will be able to send notification emails using your own email address and provider. This gives you more control over your email communication and helps create a more branded notification experience within Schedule.so.
